Allen F. Gaw, DDS

Dr. Gaw grew up in the north side of Houston and later in the Heights. he graduated from Sam Houston High School in 1968. he attended college at the University of Texas at Austin, and graduated with honors in 1972. His dental degree was obtained at the University of Texas Dental Branch in 1976.  Dr. Gaw completed his pediatric dental residency at the University and Texas Children's Hospital.  during the residency, he served as chief resident and finished his specialty training in 1979.

Dr. Gaw set up his practice at his present location in 1981.  for the last 30 years and continuing, he has served the community as a pediatric dental specialist with emphasis in growth guidance and development. he continues in active practice at his office, with one day per week teaching at the University of Texas School of Dentistry as a clinical assistant professor.

Dr. Gaw is an active member of numerous dental professional organizations including:

  • The American Dental Association
  • The Texas Dental Association
  • The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry
  • The Texas Academy of Pediatric Dentistry
  • The Houston Academy of Pediatric Dentistry

 

Michael Posada Orozco, DMD, MSD

Dr. Mike is originally from Pereira, Colombia, and San Jose, Costa Rica. He moved to Boston, MA in 2007, to further his studies in dentistry. In 2009, Dr. Posada completed a Master’s Degree in Dental Bio-materials from Boston University School of Dental Medicine. A lifelong learner, Dr. Posada continued his education at Boston University School of Dental Medicine where he earned his doctor in dental medicine (D.M.D.) degree and graduated from the school’s two-year Pediatric Dentistry specialty training program. In that time, Dr. Posada worked as a teaching assistant in the school’s pre-doctoral general dentistry program, where he mentored and taught second-year dental students pre-clinical skills.

A member of the American Dental Association, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, Texas Dental Association, American Orthodontic Society and Greater Houston Dental Society, Dr. Posada most recently worked as a pediatric dentist in two dental offices in Massachusetts and New Hampshire and also taught at Boston University in the Pediatric Dentistry residency program, as he strongly believes in serving the needs of the community and the undeserved. 

In his free time, Dr. Posada enjoys spending time with his family, playing soccer and Working out, and learning about computers and electronics.
